Songs of the Season II: Frosty the Pollster

With apologies to Jack Nelson and Steve Rollins who penned "Frosty the Snowman"

Frosty the Pollster

Frosty the pollster
was a clever sort of chap
He could make a poll
and you’d never know
it was purely crap.

Frosty the pollster
Said the voters gotta hear this,
So he pushed a "poll"
and now they know
Congressman X is really a Miss."

Down to the phonebank,
With a script in his hand,
Calling here and there all
Around the state saying,
Catch me if you can.

Frosty the pollster
knew voters needed to be swayed
So he took it upon himself
to give them a bit 'o help
And another candidacy was slayed

The neighbors down the streets of town
heard so many lies you’d think they’d pop.
When the pollster paused just for a moment
He heard the voter holler "Stop!"

Now Frosty the Pollster
Had to hurry, so many things to do.
As he waved goodbye saying,
"Don't you cry,
I'll be back again in 20-1-2."

Trumpety trump trump,
Trumpety trump trump,
Look at Frosty make up stuff.
Trumpety trump trump,
Trumpety trump trump,
I think I’ve had enough!.
