Nuclear Energy: Clinton, Obama, Edwards Views

Some reasons increasing nuclear power transmission is impractical today:

1) The US has no reprocessing plants to recycle used nuclear materials.
2) With 100 aging plants online, it is more practical to retrofit or replace them with safer plants in current sites than to build new ones.
3) Nuclear waste storage continues to meet with resistance across the US because of concerns about potential leakages.
