Gallup has released its annual poll of the most admired men and women in the the world as determined by people adults like you and me--that is adult Americans. America has spoken and despite heavy competition, "Other" and "None/No Opinion" continue their popularity as the most admired man and woman in over such luminaries, as George W. Bush, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama and others.
In last year's poll, None/no opinion racked up an impressive 29% and Other 21% as the most admired female and 30% and 21% as the most admired male in the world.
The national sample answered this question:
What man/woman that you have heard or read about, living today in any part of the world, do you admire most? And who is your second choice?
