According to the latest Zogby poll of potential Iowa caucus goers, John Edwards is hanging on to a small lead of top-tier candidates (all of whom lost a percentage point of support). Governor Bill Richardson doubled his support between March and May, while Joe Biden picked up an additional percentage point.
The trend among undecided voters is indicating a softening of support at the top of the heap which may mean that all of the top-tier candidates are equally acceptable, they really are undecided or that there are a number of people looking for someone else to join the fray.
