Why Coralville Needs Mitch Gross

Just as Iowa City is likely to opt for younger leadership in selecting Matt Hayek, Coralville citizens have the chance to do the same in choosing Mitch Gross. Mitch, who is a school teacher, is an up and coming, energetic political "star" in Johnson County and is needed voice for progressive change in Coralville.

For too long, Coralville and Iowa City have had vastly differing policies on how to serve the public's interest (As the ever-vibrant Dave Moore sings about). With the addition of new voices/community shapers like Mitch Gross's, Matt Hayek, and Mike Wright, a roadmap for joint cooperation may be positively affected in the future. And this is important if Johnson County is to grow and support its residents in a sustainable manner.

With financial resources at a premium, it will be good to have creative minded thinkers working for their communities to work on issues such as mass transportation, human service policies, joint emergency communications and so on.

If I were a Coralville resident, I would vote for Mitch.
