I received a handwritten letter from Frank Cordaro from Bridewell Detention Center yesterday. It was on yellow legal paper and was signed "Frank Cordaro, Prisoner for Christ's Sake!". Whether that was intended to be ironic, I shall have to ask Frank when he is released on November 3rd.
In any case he was happy to hear from me and related that a blank postcard I had sent in my letter to him with the statue of liberty on it was confiscated as contraband--now that is ironic!
In any case, Frank looks forward to returning to the Catholic Worker's House in Des Moines and looks forward to visitors there.
