North Liberty Stays the Course
With slightly less than 14% of the registered voters turning out, North Libertarians voted down a change in government structure by an overwhelming majority of 77.4% to 22% (with 5 votes not counted). It seems cooler heads did prevail in this case. Perhaps this will rub off in City Hall?

No - hopefully this will rub off on Clair Mekota and the rest of his rotten minions. But I doubt it.
The man is a CROOK. Plain and simple. The facts are there for the taking - the PC could easily turn a stone or two and find the goods on this guy. Instead, Ia Farmer Today does a fluff piece about how much of a "visionary" he was for developing his farm.
Why didn't IFT ask him about his bankruptcy - and what role that played in his business "vision?"
