Two recent polls of Iowans show former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards continues to hold an edge in the leadoff nominating state, even amid news that his wife's cancer has returned and that former Gov. Tom Vilsack has endorsed Sen. Hillary Clinton.
U OF I POLL: 206 likely Democratic caucus-goers, taken March 19-25, with margin of error of 6 percentage points.

ZOGBY POLL: 506 likely Democratic caucus-goers, taken Monday, with margin of error of 4.5 percentage points.

The survey, conducted March 22–26, 2007, included 432 Democratic respondents (margin of error of +/– 4.8 percentage point) and 376 Republicans (margin of error +/– 5.2 percentage points).
