Coralville City Council Candidate and school teacher, Mitch Gross, has been named to serve on the newly created Generation Iowa Commission that will study ways to improve the state's ability to retain young professionals.
Gov. Chet Culver said, ``This new generation is our team and they are our future work force. As the retiring baby-boomer generation creates new job opportunities all across our state -- an estimated jobs surplus of 150,000 by 2012 -- it is important we focus on ways to keep young Iowans here to fill our work force.''
He and 14 other young adult Iowans have their work cut out for them. Good Luck, Mitch!
