United for Peace and Justice (UFPJ)is sponsoring a major anti-war national mobilization again this fall. Usually this event is held in Washington, DC, but it was decided at the UFPJ conference this June that more people might find REGIONAL rallies more accessible and affordable instead. Therefore 8 or 9 regions are holding their own event on the same day, OCTOBER 27th.
CHICAGO is our midwest regional site.
At this point in the planning, Union Park in downtown Chicago is where the rally begins at 2 pm, with a march through various streets in the city. Grant Park is the site for re-boarding buses.
