The Town Hall Meeting That Could Have Been

As I watched the Presidential "townhall" debate last night from Tennessee, I thought it would have been nice to hear from all the viable (on enough state ballots to be elected) presidential candidates, instead of hearing the talking points from Barack Obama and John McCain. I wonder if the partisanship that Obama and McCain shed crocodile tears about can't be breeched in allowing American voters to hear what their full range of options are. What do we expect electing either one of them will do to bring about effective policies and laws that really do help Main Street?

Instead of a boxing match, perhaps we need a brawl between all comers--doesn't America deserve better than just two runners in a marathon?
