Representatives of the Democratic presidential candidates will answer questions for the public at an open forum on Sunday, October 14, 2-4 p.m., at Beems
auditorium Cedar Rapids Public Library, First Street SE.
Confirmed speakers include Rep. Elesha Gayman for Barack O'Bama, Rep. Art Staed for John
Edwards, Rep. Lisa Heddens for Joe Biden, and attorney Elizabeth Frawley Bagley for Hillary Clinton.
Issues will include election reform, American oil dependence, ending the Iraq War, American influence in the Palestinian/Israeli conflict, and restoring American jobs and fair trade policy. Sponsored by Women for Peace Iowa, 364-4709.
